Planet have just returned from our second resort inspection of the new Kitesurf resort on Nabq in Sharm El Sheikh. The spot is amazing with about 2 square km of shallow flat water with sandy bottom...this is the perfect place for beginners and improvers. The wind is cross on shore and super consistent making for one of the most ideal and safest learner spots in the world!
The best wind in this resort is between January and May with a steady 20 knots blowing most morning between 0800 and 1400.
We offer a choice of really great value hotels as well as a luxury 5* Hotel, right on site - perfect for the family for non-kiting partner. With prices this January as little £270, an easy 5 hour direct flight departing from most UK regional airports and a 15 minute transfers time, this is a great easy get-away.
Planet is now offering the new 5* Imperial Hotel in Safaga, Egypt. The hotel is based right on Kitebeach with a large area of shallow flat water directly in front of the hotel with Skyriders Kitesurf School on hand to offer rental and instruction. This makes Safaga an ideal location for beginners and improvers with non-kitesuring partners or family with access to the services and facilities of this superb new property right on site.
