The center has an ideal location on the main beach of El Yaque with a good size private grassed area for kiting up. This is essential in El Yaque as the beach is quite shallow and busy so it is important to have a fenced off area. The launch from the main beach is not ideal as it has a big wind shadow and can be very busy with both kiters and local sunbather who seem oblivious the dangers ! Therefore Skyriders will take students to Kite Beach, a ten minute boat ride up wind, where there is more space, no wind shadow and an area of shallow flat water to practice.
