Flag Beach has a team of excellent watersports instructors who not only sail, windsurf, surf, dive and kitesurf but also speak 6 languages between them. You can also feel safe in their hands as rescue facilities are always at hand for any situation that might occur. The kitesurfing kit is predominately North kites and Fanatic and North Boards with various other brands to supplement.

Kitesurfing courses at Flag Beach are run on a continual basis with groups of not more than 6 people per course. This is an IKO center and all courses are run by IKO instructors on 4 line kites from the start. Tuition is given between Flag Beach, Cotillo and in the straits between Fuerte, Lobos and Lanzarote. Teaching from a boat two miles upwind from Flag Beach offers unlimited body dragging and board work time. Also it allows the instructor to be right next to you in the water and give you on the spot advice! The centre is also offering special 7 night packages including 4 days tuition, a lunch pack and IKO card. With a sharing package for singles you can avoid the dreaded single room supplement!
