Sky Riders is our one of our most highly respected partners. Nowhere else will you find such consistently high levels of service, professionalism and equipment! With 18 windsurfing, 11 kitesurfing and 5 surfboard riding centers worldwide, they are one of the leading companies in this industry.
The staff are generally a colourful mix of personalities from diverse nationalities and cultures: “We create an optimum environment for our guests and attach importance to close co-operation with local organizations in a wide range of countries.” The success of Club Mistral is based on the collaboration of a knowledgeable and responsible team consisting of creative people with lots of imagination and an outstanding sense of humour.
To ensure a higher safety level, the beach of Santa Maria has been subdivided into two zones: one for kitesurfers, and one for windsurfers. The windsurfing zone starts directly in front of the Club Mistral and Skyriders center. It is one minute on foot to the start of the kitesurfing zone, which is slightly upwind from the centre. Here kiters of all levels will find a sandy, deserted beach, ideally suited to safe kite launching and landing. This is also the spot where courses are held, from beginners' to advanced levels. Skyriders have all the newest range of North Kits and Boards to rent (IKO level III / confident upwind riders only).
